Project Description
LDG served as the lead design consultant for the comprehensive retrofit of the existing laundry plant, tasked with modernizing the facility while maintaining full operational continuity. The scope included a complete integration of new technologies, replace obsolete systems and enhance safety and efficiency without disrupting daily production. LDG led the design effort from concept through final construction documents, coordinating closely with stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements were met. Special attention was given to phasing and sequencing to allow continuous operation during construction, minimizing downtime and maintaining throughput. In addition to their design responsibilities, LDG managed the equipment procurement process, identified and hired capable local/regional contractors/ engineers, code review and permitting with qualified Client’s A&E teams, project accounting and oversaw final commissioning and training
Project Highlights
LDG provided Strategic planning, design engineering, procurement and project management services for the retrofit of an existing laundry facility. The retrofit was executed in 3 phases with Monorail, Tunnel & Press and Dryer & Shuttle automation. Total work was completed in 10 days of plant production impact.
